Recipe Tips

  • Perfect Dough Consistency: When making lasagna sheets, ensure the dough is not too dry. Add a little water if needed until it’s smooth and elastic.
  • Thorough Meat Browning: Break up the ground beef well and cook until it’s fully browned for a richer flavor.
  • Sauce Consistency: Let the meat sauce simmer until most of the liquid evaporates. This ensures a thick sauce that won’t make the lasagna watery.
  • Layering Cheese: Distribute the parmesan and mozzarella cheese evenly in each layer for consistent cheesiness throughout the lasagna.
  • Resting Time: Allow the lasagna to rest for 15 minutes after baking. This helps it set and makes it easier to slice.
